My real estate broker told me yesterday that she gets at least 2 email requests about my house, with people wanting to see it, buy it, buy it without even seeing it. Each state has different real estate laws, in New York state once a house goes into contract the buyers must put up a 10% deposit that they will lose should they back out. Once I signed the agreement I am bound legally to sell the house within a 2 month time frame. I think its wild, and complementary, that people are still asking to see it. I have already rented a new apartment back in Manhattan where I had lived for almost 20 years before deciding a brownstone would be fun. In New York the sale is complete at the closing, which will be in the next week or 2. Now I have to find movers to pack and move my things. Below are some pics of the #Manor, one pic is how it looked in 1940.
